Apple iPod classc 120 GB Black mp3 Player (6th Generation). This is the newest Classic iPod with space for up to 30,000 songs, 150 hours of video, 25,000 photos, or any combination of those. Only a few years ago 120 GB was the amount of storage space in a desktop PC.

How much bigger can these things get? All this in a player that measures only 2.4 inches x 4.1 inches x 0.41 inch. The iPod Classic supports H.264 or MPEG-4 video in MOV, MP4, or M4V file formats, with a maximum resolution of 640×480 at as much as 30 frames per second.

Although not as flashy as the iPod Touch nor as beautiful as the Ipod Nano, the Apple iPod Classic 120 GB is the best value of them all at a list price of $249. Its main competitor will be the new Zune from Micrsoft reviewed here: Zune 120 GB

Genius Playlists

The only important improvement in features from previous versions of the iPod Classic is the inclusion of Genius. this feature allows you to create a playlist from any song you are listening to. Genius will find similar types of song in your library and turn them into a playlist for you. This feature is also found on the Ipod Touch and the iPod Nano an dif you have a large library of songs is a cool feature.

Voice Recording

Apple has made it possible to record voice memos with the second-generation iPod Classic, although just as in the ipod nano, you’ll need to purchase a compatible headset to get this working.

Fun & Games

If you enjoy playing games then you will be pleased to hear that the iPod classic comes with three; Vortex, iQuiz, and Klondike and you can purchase games, such as Monopoly, from the iTunes Store all designed specifically for the iPod interface.
